Protest Rules

PS-2102

Option to Protest

Racers have the option of formally protesting the legality of a competitor's motor. This is not a privilege to be invoked lightly.

Generally, this option is only invoked in extreme circumstances as it can become expensive, depending on which motor (and arm) you are protesting.

How to Protest

If you wish to protest the legality of a competitor's motor, you must lodge a formal protest with the Series Director.

If the motor is found to be legal, the protestor will pay 3 times the suggested retail price of the arm, and the person who owns the motor will get the protest fee.

If the motor is found to be illegal, the person who owns the arm is disqualified and the money is given back to the one who protested.
